The Ultimate Kruger & Private Safari (6 nights)

Day One & Two - Kruger National Park
On arrival in Johannesburg, you will take a short connecting flight to the town of Nelspruit, a mere 40 minutes away. We will make all travel arrangements for you.

Upon arrival in Nelspruit, you will be met by Wayne Donaldson, who will be your private guide and host for the duration of the Safari. Your first two nights will be spent in the famous Kruger National Park, where all your catering and game viewing needs will be accommodated. The camps selected will depend on availability at the time of booking, but as a rule we book the quieter private camps.

Days will consist of morning and afternoon game drives, with a brunch after the morning drive and dinner following the afternoon drive. Evenings will be spent around the fire, swapping stories and scanning the fence line for any nocturnal game activity. Midday will be time spent at your own leisure - reading, birding or just relaxing around the pool.

Day Three & Four - Timbavati Private Reserve (Umlani Bush Camp)
Day 3 will see us leave the Park after our morning drive, and head for Timbavati Private Game Reserve. Timbavati also makes up part of the Great Kruger System, as the fences between these parks were removed many years ago to create a traversing area of over 2.5 million hectares for the animals. Timbavati has only 8 camps, allowing for an unforgettable and pristine bush experience.

Our camp for the next two nights is the charming, rustic lodge at Umlani Bush Camp. This camp has all the necessary creature comforts even though there is no electricity, giving one a great opportunity to get as close to nature as possible. With no fences, it also means a large number of animals can pass right through the camp.

At Umlani Bush Camp you will be taken out on two game drives per day, in open top Land Rovers. The morning game drive departs at dawn, and the night drive departs in the late afternoon.

Day Five & Six - Timbavati Private Reserve (Tanda Tula Luxury Tented Camp)
Day 5 will see us travel to the luxurious tended camp of Tanda Tula for your last two nights in the bush. Also in Timbavati, this well-appointed camp has been cleverly designed to blend in with nature. The tents each have their own private deck, en-suite bathrooms and outside showers, making for an exceptional stay and the perfect end to your African Safari. Here one can opt to have breakfast in the bush, dinners around the boma by the warmth of a roaring fire, or a private, romantic dinner arranged on your tent deck at no extra charge.

At Tanda Tula you will enjoy two game viewing excursions each day, either in open Land Rovers or on foot. The rangers and trackers here are amongst the most highly qualified in Africa, assuring that your game experience will be unforgettable, exciting and informative.

Day Seven - Travel
Day 7 will see us head to Eastgate Airport in the town of Hoedspruit, a mere 40 minutes away. Here you will take your connecting flight back to Johannesburg, or maybe to Cape Town for some more fun and sightseeing.

Your 6 Night Safari Adventure now ends, but the memories will linger on forever!
